Experience

Maitre Rebecca Nahon is fully admitted as lawyer (avocate) at the Paris Bar. Rebecca’s practice focuses on criminal defence and civil and commercial litigation.

She advises and represents individuals, corporate officers and directors, as well as legal entities.

Prior to founding Nahon Avocat, Rebecca practiced within the criminal and commercial litigation departments of renowned law firms (Gide Loyrette Nouel, Vigo and HERALD, formerly GRANRUT) where she advised and represented French and international clients in sensitive and complex cases, in particular large corporations.

Rebecca has also experience in teaching law at the University of Paris Est Créteil and has worked with renowned institutions to prepare trainee lawyers for the entrance exam for the Paris bar.

Education

Rebecca obtained a master’s degree from the University of Paris Dauphine in International and European Business Law and a master’s degree from the University of Paris Est Créteil in Business Criminal Law.

She is also a graduate of the London School of Economics and Political Science where she obtained a Master of Laws (LL.M.).

Rebecca regularly advises her clients in English. She also speaks Spanish and German. ​

ENGAGEMENTS

Rebecca is guided by the conviction that everyone must have access to an effective and affordable legal advice and assistance. She is committed to defending socially or economically disadvantaged members of the community in criminal proceedings as legal aid officer (commissions d’office) since her admission at the Paris Bar.

For several years, she has been providing pro bono legal advice through her engagement with the SAMU Social and the Bus de la solidarité of the Paris Bar.

The defence of women and women’s rights is particularly close to her heart. Rebecca is part of the legal team of the Fondation des femmes.
